We Are A Winner

We would like to announce that Burnley Wood Community Action Group won an award lastnight at the Best of Burnley Awards 2008 at the Burnley Mechnics. We won the catagory of Visions of Burnley.
We would like to say a very big thank you to all of those who nominated us and we ended up in two catagories Visions of Burnley and Building Stronger Burnley Communities Award.
A very special thank you to our local Neighbourhood Policing Team, Cathy, Bill and John. Our local Councillor Jeff Sumner. Accent North-West. Our dedicated, hardworking, voluntary team, Sue, Lynn, Elley and Tony.
Something that our late Chair, Brian Fenn would of been overwhelmed with.
