The public gallery, in Padiham Town Hall Council Chamber, was full for Monday night's council meeting. After a discussion on a proposed gypsy caravan site in the town, it was unanimously agreed, by both residents and councillors, that the site was unsuitable for that type of use. A 500 signed petition against the proposal has been sent to Burnley Council.
