Is there life after death? Can there ever be a scientifically satisfactory explanation as to what may happen to human consciousness at the point of death? Anthony Peake believes there is. Using the latest evidence from the fields of quantum physics, neurology, consciousness studies and psychology, he proposes a simply amazing and totally original theory.

Anthony will be visiting Blackburn Library on Wednesday April 9 at 7 pm when he will be discussing his ideas in layman's terms and signing copies of his new book which links his theories to the popular film The Golden Compass'. In the film, based on Philip Pulman's award winning book Northern Lights', evil powers try to harness the power of the soul by separating children from their daemons'.

Anthony has the gift to explain complex theories in simple words and the evening promises to be a fascinating exploration of some of the most profound mysteries of life.
