Sunday morning and my 1yr old daughter let us know it was feeding time (7am). I looked out of my bedroom window (facing Barrowford Park) and was greeted by a scene straight from a postcard. The park was covered with a blanket of snow just waiting to be sledged on.
My two sons in bed were not for stirring until I mentioned getting the sledge out of the shed. They had their fleeces and wellies on before I had time to get out of my slippers. I wish they were that quick on a school day.
We were the first sledgers on the park that morning and guess who did all the pulling? After a few descents down the slope it was time for something else. The snow was perfect for making a snowman so we got to work and managed to create a half decent effort. I managed to get some good video footage on my new Fuji digital camera and it's a good job because as fast as the snow arrived it had all but gone by Sunday tea.
