    Pots of Love
    Paint your own ceramics
    Paint your own ceramics

The Rainhall Centre is pleased to announce that the catering business that will be operating from within the premises will be Pots of Love - a Ceramic Cafe!

Pots of Love is the brainchild of Mother & Daughter team Lindsay Garnett & Shelley Hodgson.

The ceramics cafe is a niche and attractive tourist addition to The Rainhall Centre and the West Craven area.

It is the only cafe of its type in Pendle offering you the opportunity to paint a pot of your choice from an extensive collection and enjoy homemade refreshments at the same time!

Jennene Whiteley is the Project Development Manager for West Craven Together - the regeneration partnership responsible for The Rainhall Centre and she is thrilled with the new addition.

She said "The Ceramic Cafe is a wonderful addition to the creative industries and fits perfectly with what WCT is trying to achieve in the area.

"It is a new start-up business and a tourist attraction all in one.

"It is also more than appealing to local people and will be available for private group bookings upon request.

"An added bonus is that the launch of the facility follows the production of the new 2008 Events Programme for the West Craven area which is kindly sponsored this year again by the locally based Earby firm Cottages4You.

"The Events Programme is distributed across the Northwest and North Yorkshire & with the opening of the new Pendle Centre at Boundary Mill, tourism in Pendle is really achieving new levels!"

The Ceramic Cafe will be open Monday to Friday from 10 am until 4 pm and at the weekends upon request.

A selection of home made cooking will be on offer along with fresh coffee and cakes.

You are all invited to the Grand Opening on Saturday 5 April from 10 am until 3 pm opened by his worship the Mayor of Pendle, Cllr Allan Buck.

The day will not only see the opening of the Ceramic Cafe but will also include a fun filled day where you will have the opportunity to paint your own pot and sample the culinary delights.

You can also participate in a number of FREE workshops and demonstrations available to children and adults.

    Wait... There's More!

There will also be an ARTS & CRAFTS FAIR taking place in the main hall with a variety of gift cards, hand made handbags and much more along with an exhibition by PENDLE arts group.
