    Tai Chi classes for all
    Practising in the park
    Practising in the park

Bank Top Community Centre hosts Tai Chi classes every Tuesday from 10am until 11am.

The sessions are open to all ages and abilities, and cost only £1 per person.

Tai Chi is a martial art which has been practiced for thousands of years, although it is relatively 'new' to the Western world.

It strengthens your muscles and helps you stay flexible. It develops your ability to balance. It moves you blood around in your body to distribute oxygen, hormones, and other goodies to where they're needed.

Anyone can do it, from the very young to the very old, from overweight persons to those trying to 'bulk up'.

It doesn't require you to exert yourself. You don't have to move fast. You don't have to bend far. It's low-impact and easy on your joints. You don't have to wear fancy clothes or buy any fancy equipment to do it.

So why not take a chance on something new, give it a go, what have you got to lose?

For more information contact Tracey Watson at Bank Top Community Centre on 01254 56001.
