Worsthorne residents living near the sub-station on Wallhurst Close have been surveyed about whether to fence it off and replies continue to be received.
One reader of this column has pointed out that 'yobs' in a different area had managed to disconnect the electricity at a sub-station.
Also, Worsthorne probably has the highest 'density' of children between three and 13 years of age and it has also been observed that cyclists and footballers congregate around the sub-station.
Residents are requested to contact the chairman of the Parish Council, Tony Lambert, to let him know their views.
Phone 01282 454501 or write to 16 Ravenoak Lane.
