I am presently in Staveley near Kendal - 7.00pm 17th Oct. and it is anything BUT drizzle!
: )

There has been torrential rain, so heavy it could be clearly heard in my workshop - not on the roof, but outside in the yard!
It was being driven by heavy winds - which have been depositing all manner of debris - especially leaves from species of tree some way away!

I'm not looking forward to my bike ride home to Windermere!
