Nigel Farage's UK Independence Party is on course to top May's elections to the European Parliament, according to an opinion poll.
The ComRes opinion poll for the Independent on Sunday and Sunday Mirror - based on the 38% of respondents who said they were "absolutely certain" to vote - gave Ukip the largest share of the vote with 30%.
Labour is in second place with 28%, with the Conservatives third on 21% and the Liberal Democrats trailing in fourth place on 8% - just two points ahead of the Greens on 6%.
For a general election, Labour continues to lead with 35% - two points down on last month - although their advantage over the Conservatives, who are unchanged on 32%, has narrowed.
Ukip is up one point on 16% while the Lib Dems are unchanged on 9%.
