Charlie and the Chocolate Factory star Freddie Highmore has scored ten A* grades in his GCSEs.
The young actor starred as Charlie opposite Johnny Depp in the 2005 film and appeared with him in Finding Neverland.
In a statement Freddie said he had achieved 10 A* grades in English language and English literature, maths, Spanish, French, Latin, geography, biology, chemistry and physics.
He said he was "thrilled" with the results.
He now plans to study for A-levels but has not yet decided which subjects to take.
