Kylie Minogue's management has defended the singer's performance at the Logie Awards.
The pop princess' highly anticipated return to the Australian TV awards ceremony was soured by claims that she mimed throughout the world premiere of her new single, I Was Gonna Cancel.
The 45-year-old's management hit back at the allegations, telling Ninemsn.com that "the performance was live".
They added: "Kylie has backing vocal fillers during the chorus and the two backing vocalists to the side of stage."
A Channel Nine spokesperson also insisted that Kylie's performance was live.
They said: "(Kylie's) live performance of her new single was a great moment in the room and on the broadcast. We were privileged to have her with us and have the world premiere of her new release. It was a highlight of the event this year."
Kylie attended the ceremony in Melbourne, alongside her younger sister Dannii.
