SJP's scenes cut from Lovelace film

Sarah Jessica Parker will no longer be seen as feminist icon Gloria Steinem in Lovelace
Sarah Jessica Parker's scenes have been cut from the Linda Lovelace movie.
The Sex And The City star had filmed the role of feminist icon Gloria Steinem in Lovelace, stepping in as a last minute replacement after Demi Moore dropped out due to health issues, but it seems her part has now ended up on the cutting room floor.
Directors Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman told Entertainment Weekly that SJP's part was cut because the timeline of the movie changed.
The script originally ended in 1984, but during the editing process the directors decided it would be better to end the story in 1980, which was before porn star Lovelace became affiliated with Steinem.
The pair confessed it was tough telling the star her role hadn't made the final edit, although they said SJP "was a pro" about the situation.
Amanda Seyfried plays the title role in the biopic, with Peter Sarsgaard portraying her husband Chuck Traynor.
Demi pulled out of the film last year when she sought help for exhaustion and to improve her health.
Lovelace is being premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.
