Simon Cowell has admitted he's been on dates with Carmen Electra.

The US X Factor judge, 53, opened up to radio host Ryan Seacrest about the former Baywatch star, who did a stint as a guest judge on Britain's Got Talent.

When Ryan told the TV mogul that he'd interviewed "his girlfriend" the other day, Simon asked him "which one?"

After being told he was referring to Carmen, Simon divulged: "She's not my girlfriend," before adding: "We've been on some dates. She's adorable, isn't she?"

Carmen, 40, was linked to Simon after they were seen on a dinner date in LA.

She later gushed: "He's so cute. He's adorable, he's actually a sweetheart. I really like him, I think he's very cool."

Simon's comments come after he was linked to True Blood actress Janina Gavankar, F1 driver Jenson Button's former fiancee Louise Griffiths and said to have rekindled his romance with his ex-fiancee Mezhgan Hussainy.
