Cheryl Cole has ruled out a return to The X Factor.
Following reports of flagging ratings, it has been rumoured ITV are attempting to woo the singer back to the judging panel next year, even offering her the position of head judge. But according to The Sun, she is resisting all their efforts.
The singer's spokesman confirmed: "Cheryl has no plans to return."
The 29-year-old singer, who recently reunited with Girls Aloud for their comeback tour, is said to be focusing on her music career.
Cheryl fell out with X Factor boss Simon Cowell after she was fired from the US X Factor mid series.
The Girls Aloud star revealed in her autobiography how she sent the music mogul an expletive-filled text message in which she told him: "I hate you," and condemned him for not warning her about her sacking face-to-face.
She said: "(Cowell) didn't even have the guts to phone or send a message warning me what was coming. I was furious with Simon for letting it it happen like this. I believed we had a good friendship and I couldn't understand why he just hadn't been straight with me."
