Cheryl Cole could be making an X Factor comeback.
The Girls Aloud star, who was dramatically axed from the US version of the show last year, has held talks with show boss Simon Cowell about a possible return, The Sun reports.
Cheryl apparently had a meeting with the music mogul at his Beverly Hills mansion to discuss a place on the panel, with Simon said to have told her: "Name your price."
Ratings have fallen since Cheryl was a judge on the ITV show and saw her acts Alexandra Burke and Joe McElderry win the contest.
But a source close to Simon said: "They have met a few times in the last 18 months and have remained in contact.
"They were just shooting the breeze and catching up."
Meanwhile, Gary Barlow is said to be planning a duet with Christopher Maloney if he makes the final in Manchester, because other stars have snubbed a duet with the hopeful.
