Sheen helps pay Lohan's tax bill?
9:51am Monday 26th November 2012 in National Entertainment News © Press Association 2013
Lindsay Lohan got a helping hand from her pal Charlie Sheen
Charlie Sheen has apparently bailed out pal Lindsay Lohan by helping to pay her tax bill.
The former Two And A Half Men actor - who got friendly with fellow hellraiser Li-Lo when they worked on Scary Movie 5 together - wrote the actress a cheque for 100,000 dollars so she could pay off the sum, according to TMZ.com.
Lindsay, 26, apparently opened up to Charlie about her tax woes when they worked together earlier this year but refused to allow him to help out at the time.
Undeterred, Charlie, 47, recently posted a cheque to Lindsay's team to help her settle the bill.
The gossip site reports that Lindsay was "blown away" by Charlie's generosity.
The star's problems should soon be behind her as she is in the middle of a career comeback after being plagued by personal and legal troubles for several years.
She recently finished shooting the role of Elizabeth Taylor in TV film Liz And Dick, and told Us Weekly: "Everything I've gone through made me ready to play Liz."
