Cooper: Filming Playbook exhausting

Bradley Cooper is in almost every scene of Silver Linings Playbook
Bradley Cooper has revealed how he was only given two weeks notice about starting work on Silver Linings Playbook.
The Hangover star said director David O Russell offered him the part when he was shooting The Place Beyond The Pines with Ryan Gosling.
"He said, 'OK, we want you to do this movie, can you show up in two weeks?'," recalled Bradley. "It was sort of baptism by fire but I had faith in the fact he had faith in me."
And in hindsight, he thinks it was an advantage to move straight from one movie set to the next.
"I actually think one informed the other. It was like you had an engine that was already revved up. Everything was firing, [so] no thinking."
It proved to be the toughest shoot of his career however, not least because he's in almost every scene, and the actor remembers the exhaustion he felt at the end of each day.
"Oh man, it was like I would just crawl into bed," he said, laughing.
But he added that working with the respected director of The Fighter was worth it.
"I just feel I hit the jackpot with Silver Linings Playbook," he said. "That I get a chance to work with David O Russell is a dream come true. I've never seen a bad performance in any of his movies, but perhaps the best performances of their [his casts'] careers."
