Anne Hathaway has confirmed she will be on board Steven Spielberg's Robopocalypse
Anne Hathaway has confirmed her involvement in Steven Spielberg's highly anticipated Robopocalypse film.
Reports had been circulating for months that the Les Miserables actress was Spielberg's top choice for female lead in the robot uprising epic, and Anne told Empire the rumours were true.
"If Robopocalypse happens I will be in it, and I believe it's quite real, though you never want to hang your hat on anything," she said.
Anne - who said she was "in Secretville" about her character - added: "Whenever I'm taking time off, I always joke to my team that I'm on vacation unless Steven Spielberg calls. And I was on vacation and Spielberg called. So I was like, 'OK, put my money where my mouth is'."
Skyfall actor Ben Whishaw and Thor's Chris Hemsworth are also rumoured to be starring in the film, which is scheduled to start shooting early next year.
