Russell Grant is to be reunited with his Strictly Come Dancing partner Flavia Cacace to strut his stuff on the dance floor.

The astrologer - who was voted out in week eight of the BBC One dance show last year after proving a huge hit with his comedy performances - will join Flavia and her professional partner Vincent Simone in the West End run of their dance show Midnight Tango.

Former Strictly judge Arlene Phillips, who produces the show said: "I'm delighted that Russell will be performing and dancing with Vincent and Flavia.

"Russell's partnership with Flavia is well known, but I too have had a dance partnership with Russell, which began with his appearance in the title role of The Wizard of Oz at the London Palladium, followed by playing Teen Angel in the current national tour of Grease, and I'm delighted we now have a third partnership."

Midnight Tango will open at London's Phoenix Theatre on January 30, 2013, and run until March 2, 2013.

Arlene and her co-producer Adam Spiegel are planning to throw Russell a huge party by moving the press night to his 62nd birthday, Tuesday February 5, 2013.

The West End run of Midnight Tango will be followed by a nationwide tour, which will begin at the Congress Theatre in Eastbourne on March 13 and run until August 3 at Leeds' Grand Theatre.
