Irton House Farm

Irton House Farm compromises of six holiday cottages which sit around a central courtyard. The cottages have been carefully designed to provide easy access and comfort for all our guests including any with disability including wheelchair users.

The farm is set in 240 acres of pasture and woodland and commands possibly one of the finest views found in the Northern Lake District.

All our luxury accommodation has been furnished throughout to a high specification, having been specifically designed to provide easy access for all our guests including those with reduced mobility. All the cottages are easily accessible with parking immediately outside your front entrance.

Irton House Farm is located approximately 7 miles North West of Keswick, 2 miles from the village of Bassenthwaite and 6 miles East of the market town of Cockermouth.

From M6 motorway: From Junction 40 at Penrith, take A66 towards Keswick. Stay on bypass to roundabout.
Exit A591 north, alongside Bassenthwaite Lake, passing The Castle Inn Hotel on Left.
Continue on A591 to next crossroads, turn 1st Left signed "Isel & Sunderland", 1st farm on Left, turn in front of bungalow into our farmyard
