FATHER and son Howard and Niki Murtaugh made sure the CFS Burnley and District League’s doubles final was a family affair after sweeping to victory.
The Murtaughs, playing for Lowerhouse Canteen, were up against Padiham Snooker Club pair Sean Greenall and the highly-talented Farak Adjaib in the final held at Ighten Leigh Social Club.
The handicap system meant that the Murtaughs had a 29 point start on their oppenents.
And thanks to some fantastic potting and safety play for Murtaugh Junior while Murtaugh Senior kept the dangerous Farak quiet as the pair wrapped up an impressive 3-0.
