FIJIAN flyer Seta Kolinisau ran in four tries as rampant Rossendale notched up a half century of points.
The prolific Pacific Islander crossed for a first half hat-trick as Dale geared up for their end of season promotion play-off with an eight try blitz against their Cumbrian rivals.
Winger Alistair Harper also scored a hat-trick of tries while David Wood's touchdown completed the try count. Shaun Stirrup added five conversions.
Upper Eden started the better of the two sides but could not make their pressure count as they realised that the Dale defence was in no mood to be breached and resorted to kicking possession away.
After fifteen minutes, Dale produced the quick ball that the mercurial backline thrive on and following six phases of play, Kolinisau broke the deadlock with a simple well executed move, scoring in the corner. Stirrup converted despite the blustery conditions.
Similar play resulted in another score from Kolinisau just two minutes after the restart. Stirrup converted and Dale led 14-0.
Some stern defending from Dale kept Upper Eden at bay and any hopes of getting back in to the game disappeared when Kolinisau completed his hat-trick following a blindside move by number Joel McKenty and Stirrup.
Harper added a fourth try before half time after Dale's rampant forwards had stolen Upper Eden possession. Stirrup added his fourth conversion to give Dale a commanding 28-0 lead at the break.
Superb interplay from Dale's backline provided the first score in the second half when good work from Jonny Appleton, Craig Diggle and Harper gave David Wood the easy task of touching down after he had been instrumental in creating the opportunity.
A few minutes later, Harper stole the ball from Upper Eden and promptly scampered over in the corner to score.
Kolinisau then added his fourth and best try of the game when he collected the ball in his own 22 and mounted a one-man offensive scoring past several defenders.
Harper scored his hat-trick try with a trademark sprint for the line after Sean Fortune had slipped him the scoring pass.
Stirrup added one conversion in the second half in difficult conditions for a personal haul of ten points.
Dale are now in top form ahead of the play-off against either Burnage or Wigan.
Team manager Mick Barnes said: "We are capable of more than this and although 50-0 is a hammering in anybody's book, I honestly thought we could have doubled that if we'd got everything right. "We must aim to produce that perfect game' or we are not doing ourselves justice, but every player knows we can do a lot better."
