GETTY Schinkel praised the mental toughness of his young Burnley side who twice came from behind to beat in-form Hutton.

However, the straight-talking South African said his players made it hard work for themselves after missing four penalties and two conversions.

Hutton led 10-3 and then 13-10 in to the final five minutes before a wonderful breakaway try from centre Theo Coleman sealed victory for Burnley.

Outside half Simon Finnan also scored a try with Richard Griffiths and Dom Leck kicking penalties.

“It was a great win and the lads should real mental toughness,” said Schinkel. “That is the sort of game we would have lost earlier in the season. Mind you, we made it hard work as we missed too many kicks.”
