BURNLEY maintained their promotion push thanks to a last-kick-of-the-game victory over Eccles - and stretch their winning run to 17 matches.
The North Lancs One high-flyers looked like they would have to settle for a share of the spoils until Richard Griffiths slotted over a dramatic late penalty.
The teams were tied at 5-5 until a an Eccles forward gave away a penalty close to the halfway line.
Griffiths still had plenty to do but made lightwork of the pressure kick.
Earlier, outside centre Richard Murray had crossed for Burnley's only try of the game.
Victory keeps the pressure on leaders Heaton Moor.
