Blackburn’s Paula Walker has been confirmed as Great Britain’s number one pilot for the Bobsleigh World Cup series this winter.
The former world junior champion will continue her two-man pairing with former world champion Gillian Cooke, with Kelly Denyer also joining the women’s crew. Walker, a former St Bede’s pupil, has been taken part in selection races in Latvia this week. Her boyfriend, John Jackson, will lead the men’s GB 1 crew.
