BURNLEY recorded their first win of the season and they did it in emphatic style as they racked up 50 points at Oldham.
The Holden Road club ran in seven tries to leap-frog Oldham at the foot of the North Lancs Cumbria Division.
Back row Richard Murray crossed for a hat-trick of touchdowns with outside half Ricky Cribb and Getty Schienkel also getting on the scoresheet.
And Richard Griffiths was inform with the boot, slotting over all seven conversions.
“It was great to finally get our first win,” said chairman Phil Harbour. “And to do it in such style made it all the more pleasing.”
