BLACKBURN Harriers athlete Holly Bleasdale is into Monday’s women’s pole vault final after recording a height of 4.55m in qualifying today.
Bleasdale is regarded as a medal chance after making huge improvements over the past two years but missed out on a place in the final of the World Championships in 2011 after failing to record a height in qualifying.
She put that right in London today, though, finishing joint fourth in Group A of qualifying to go through to the final.
