Evo-Stik League First Division North outfit Durham City have had a troubled couple of years with bad results, financial problems and point deductions.
But they couldn’t have expected to lose their kit. The North East outfit had their away strip stolen from their bus after their game at Cammell Laird on Saturday.
But the kit has turned up to save City a big bill – thanks to Jamie McGuire of Fleetwood Town.
He read of the stolen kit and made a few local enquiries and the kit turned up in a garden and will be returned at Chester on Saturday.
