RAMSBOTTOM United have signed Everton teenager Matty Johnson on a youth loan.

The goalkeeper impressed at Evo-Stik level with Radcliffe Borough two years ago but his spell at Taurus Park was cut short when he broke a leg against Colne.

The 19-year-old has made a full recovery and has been playing for the Toffees academy sides in recent months.

The Rams have also signed forward Michael Williams.

The 18-year-old frontman, a former Accrington & Rossendale College football academy pupil. has impressed for the club's reserves and Under-21s and has spent time in Accrington Stanley's youth set-up.
