IT WAS a family affair when Red Rose Classic Motorcycle Club staged the penultimate round of their 2014 championship.

Former World Trials Champion Yrjo Vesterinen (above) took the honours in class C on his Triumph Tiger Cub, and daughter Hanna matched him all the way to win class Te on her Bultaco.

Sunday’s trial, held at the popular Auto Transmissions venue at Kebcote, near Todmorden, attracted 50 riders for four laps of 10 sections. Class wins went to Ian Johnston (Ae, Triumph), Max Heys (Ce Cub), Odgie (T, OK Supreme), John Hird and (T, Yamaha).

The club would like to thank clerks of the course, Mark Gregg and Adrian Thompson, and observers. Their next trial is at Copy Pit, Cliviger on Sunday, the nearest postcode is BB10 4SZ.
