Integral looked every inch a Group One filly in waiting when successful at Royal Ascot last month and can confirm her status in the top bracket by clinching the Qipco Falmouth Stakes at Newmarket.

The daughter of Dalakhani clinched Listed and Group Three prizes as a three-year-old and rounded off the year by pushing the far more accomplished Sky Lantern close in the Sun Chariot.

Following a narrow reverse on her return to action in the Dahlia Stakes, Integral was strongly fancied for Ascot’s Duke of Cambridge Stakes and got the job done in a record time during a fantastic week for the yard.

The reopposing Sky Lantern rates a danger, having blown the cobwebs when fifth at Ascot, but Integral is a filly in the ascendency and is fancied to confirm her superiority.

The other major threat is Clive Brittain’s Coronation Stakes heroine Rizeena, but in four previous visits to Headquarters, she has failed to win, which has to be a major concern for a filly of such quality.

The Stoute string have continued in scintillating form since the Royal meeting and Integral should prove an extremely tough nut to crack.

French raider High Celebrity gets the nod in the Duchess of Cambridge Stakes.

The six-furlong contest cut up significantly at the declaration stage following the withdrawal of Royal Ascot heroine Cursory Glance and Queen Mary placed horses Tiggy Wiggy and Newsletter, leaving the door open for a new star filly to emerge.

High Celebrity bolted up on her Chantilly debut and while the form is difficult to quantify, her sheer presence in this Group Two is of significant interest.

In the past five seasons trainer Andrew Fabre has saddled just seven runners at Newmarket, on the Rowley Mile and July Course combined, with four of those heading back across the Channel victorious.

His latest challenger could well enhance that impressive strike-rate.

Odds-on backers had their fingers burnt when Joyeuse was turned over in Ireland last month, but she can reward those who keep the faith in the totepool Summer Stakes at York.

Frankel’s half-sister has come up short at Group One level, but is a talented filly nonetheless, as she showed when winning a Listed prize at Haydock in decisive fashion on her penultimate start.

She was a little disappointing in the Ballyogan Stakes, but was given plenty to do on that occasion and she is likely to be seen in a better light on this less demanding track.

If she runs up to he mark, Joyeuse will be hard to beat against a field of largely exposed horses.

Min Alemarat rates the best bet on a quality card at Ascot.

Marco Botti’s Galileo colt caught the eye making late gains to finish sixth on his debut at Newmarket over a mile and a quarter and showed the benefit of that run when runner-up over a mile and a half at Salisbury next time on more testing terrain.

He was odds-on to make it third time lucky at Haydock last time out, but it was still difficult not to be impressed by the way he blew his rivals away and an opening mark of 92 seems fair enough, with a further step up in trip likely to bring about further improvement.

Any rain that falls in Berkshire will further enhance his claims.

The Windsor Castle Stakes at Royal Ascot proved a bridge too far for Fuwairt, but he should secure his second victory at Chepstow in the And They’re Off With Leisuretime EBF Stallions Novice Stakes.

Mark Johnston’s team are firing on all cylinders and runaway Hamilton winner Arabian Bride can make a winning start to her handicap career in Chester’s MBNA Nursery.
