Colne cyclist's victory over Olympic team-mates

Colne’s Steven Burke was victorious over some of his Olympic cycling team-mates at a challenge event in Manchester.
Burke, who took bronze in the individual pursuit in Beijing, teamed up with fellow pursuiters Ed Clancy and Geraint Thomas to defeat sprinters Jamie Staff, Ross Edgar and Jason Kenny over a 750m distance.
Burke has not travelled to Australia for this weekend’s Melbourne World Cup.
