ROSSENDALE manager Derek Egan is hoping for better weather as the Stags entertain Lancashire rivals Bamber Bridge at Dark Lane tomorrow.
Egan was astounded that last week's home game against Bridlington Town was given the go-ahead by the officials, despite the rain-sodden pitch being seemingly unplayable before kick-off.
But the match was eventually abandoned at half-time, with the scoreline at 1-1.

That fixture has now been re-arranged for Thursday, April 24.
"Quite clearly, the game should not have been played," said Egan.
"There was a bit of debate, but about 10 minutes into the game, everyone knew it should not have gone ahead.
"It was a bit of a farce. It should have been called off then, but the referee continued to half-time.
"I'm just thankful that nobody did themselves any harm."
