RAMSBOTTOM United's new ambitious boss Neil Hart believes the club can still land a top six finish this season, starting tomorrow at home to Flixton.
The 35-year-old former Bolton Wanderers defender takes over as Lee Sculpher's successor at the Riverside after two seasons in charge of West Lancashire League outfit Turton.
Hart was a regular in Bolton's reserve and youth teams during the Phil Neale era of the late 80's and early 90's and his playing career took him to Swedish side Gilleby IF.
He later turned out for Chorley and Radcliffe Borough before a knee injury curtailed his career.
"I'm really looking forward to the challenge," said Hart.
"I hope we can be knocking on the door of the top five or six this season, and maybe put together a couple of good cup runs."
