Instead, Iain Bland's 79th minute header past Storks goalkeeper Gavin King meant McCluskey had to be content with a point from his first Vodkat North West Counties match as boss.

However, the result did extend Padiham's unbeaten run to five games, before they face second-placed Oldham Town at the Arbories on Wednesday night.
