    New Mills 4 Darwen 0

Darwen had to field a much depleted side against champions-elect New Mills.

The game started badly for the Salmoners, with Carlos Meakin sliding the ball past Calum Heneghan in goal after three minutes.

Meakin tapped in a second, after earlier hitting the post, before Adam Morning hit a third before the break.

Kenny Mayers was on target for New Mills in the second-half.

Dennis, do yourself a favour mate and get away from that club before it drags your reputation down.

The former Rovers ladies manager Andy McNally wants the job.
He was the one who discovered Matt Derbyshire and Rochdales Gary Brown.
He's a class act for a manager, i say give him a shout.
Id start going to the Anchor again with someone decent in charge.
