Colne manager Nigel Coates is delighted at his side's incredible finish to the season which has seen the Reds record just one defeat in their last 14 games and that was to the Vodkat Division One champions-elect Trafford.
This victory against Winsford assures Colne of their best ever final position in the league and possible promotion to the UniBond League if four teams are promoted.
It was reserve team striker Mark Threlfall, making his first-team debut, that settled this game, scoring the only goal on 68 minutes.
