Tony Hesketh welcomes back Chorley duo Mark Drew and Chris Brookes from ankle injuries for tomorrow's clash with Rossendale United.
Gavin Lee-Ellison has completed his suspension, but defender Kieran Fletcher serves the last of his two-match ban.
And the Magpies manager will be looking for a better result in his side's second derby clash in the space of five days, after Chorley's 3-2 home defeat to Clitheroe on Tuesday.
"There are many positives from what was a full-bloodied game with Clitheroe, and I expect it may be a similar game against Rossendale," said Hesketh.
"I thought we were unfortunate against Clitheroe.
"We couldn't score that third goal and they ended up nicking it right at the end.
"But that's football."
