Chorley manager Tony Hesketh was pleased with the performance of Chorley's youngsters in last Saturday's league victory over Wakefield.
The Magpies' boss said: "I was really pleased with the result and the performance, especially from the young players I brought in to give some of the regulars a rest before the cup final.
"Adam Farrell, Danny Pilkington, two lads with Lancashire FA Youth experience who joined us as cover, did very well.
"Adam, who has only just turned 18, scored a great equaliser, and Danny Pilkington showed his bravery and confidence by taking a right-wing corner with his left foot and a free kick in the middle of the park with his left."
But they will not be eligible to play in the Lancashire FA Co-operatives Trophy final because they signed for Chorley after the semi-finals.
Hesketh added: "It was great to see Cabbar Bagdagi, who is only 21, celebrate his first full appearance with a superb winner. It was also good to have Danny Douglas-Pringle back after his ankle problem."
