Chorley's relegation fears look to be over as the FA have confirmed that Newcastle Blue Star can leave the UniBond League and play in the first division of the Alngrove Northern League from the beginning of the 2008/2009 season.
This should mean that no club will be relegated from the UniBond Division One North at the end of this season.
Blue Star secretary Jim Anderson said: " It's great news and we can start and plan for the new campaign in August.
"We've given the UunBond a go but it was not for us and we are very happy to be on way back into the ANL, whose chairman Mike Amos has been in touch and said they will welcome us back."
