BACUP manager Brent Peters has dismissed any fears that the club could be relegated.
But he has admitted they need to start scoring goals and winning games as soon as possible to secure their Division One status.
Borough entertain Squires Gate tonight balanced just one place off the bottom of the league, although basement boys Nelson have played three more matches.
And Borough have five games in hand on 18th placed Abbey Hey.
Peters said: "I'm not worried about relegation. I think we've got a lot of quality and our saving grace is we've got games in hand.
"Nelson will run out of games before us, Abbey Hey will run out of games before us and so will Atherton LR.

"But, sooner rather than later, we're going to have to start making things happen at the business end of the pitch, otherwise my confidence will be put to the test."
At the top of Peters' wish-list is a muck and nettles' striker, with Lee Oldham, Ian Barker and Simon Eaton all out injured.
The Borough boss admits he has plenty of finesse players, but he lacks someone to get stuck into opposition defences, with Bacup among the lowest scorers in the league.
He added: "We're playing well in defence and in midfield.
"I've got players who will run through walls for me and we're creating plenty of chances, but we're giving opposition centre-backs an easy time of it.
"It's a muck and nettles player we're looking for, someone to get in among defences and upset players.
"If they can do that then we've got plenty of finesse players who can put the ball away.
