BACUP are in talks to sign former Manchester City star Leon Mike.
And boss Brent Peters was also confident ex-FC United and Salford striker Matty Hughes would be in the squad for tomorrow's home match against Glossop.
He said: "Leon hasn't signed yet but he's shown a desire to come here.

"He hasn't played for a few months so he wants to get his fitness up before he throws his hat into the ring.
"I'm expecting a call from Matty and I'm hoping he'll be in the team for tomorrow.
"He's a very good player."
Experienced campaigner Stuart Shepherd is doubtful.
