STEVE Stott, the former Bacup skipper who helped the side win the second division and Challenge Cup in the recent past, has re-joined the West View side and will make the trip to Abbey Hey tomorrow.
Stott, who has been out of football for a couple of seasons with a knee injury, is now fully fit and manager Brent Peters admitted he was delighted to have his old skipper back on board.
He said: "It's great to have Steven back. He's a leader of men, a winner and he's a huge boost to our squad."
Borough have also swooped to replace keeper Adam Potts, who will be missing for the next few weeks.
Former FC United keeper Phil Melville has signed for Borough, but will be unable to play this weekend, so FC United reserve stopper Tony Tompos will fill the void against Abbey Hey.
Elsewhere, Tony Carroll is available but will miss the start of the game as he is attending an ante-natal class.

But Borough still have Lee Anderson and John Borg suspended and Lee Oldham, Simon Heaton, Ian Barker and Ian Hughes out injured.
Danny Hartley is expected to shake off a back injury but Borough are still waiting to hear from Curzon Ashton as to whether defender Danny Whelan will be allowed to play.
