Duckworth claims annual Brian Molyneux award

First published in Motor sport

THE annual SD34 Motor Sport Group Brian Molyneux Award has gone to Margaret Duckworth.

The award – named in memory of Molyneux, who helped to set up the prestigious Tour of Mull event on behalf of the Blackburn-based 2300 Car Club but died in 1996 – is given to someone who has done something special for local motor sport.

Duckworth earned this year’s award for her work for Garstang and Preston Motor Club since the early 1980s, as well as playing a key role within the SD34 Motor Sport Group.
