COLNE racers Team Appleyard Macadam have confirmed an all Scottish line-up for the 2012 season.
Regular rider Deane Brown, from Motherwell, will remain with the team and will move into the competitive Supersport 600 class after making the transition to a 600cc bike in 2011.
Brown had previously had three successful years in the GP125 class and finished this year in fourth place in the Metzeler Superstock Championship.
Irish rider Jack Kennedy, however, has decided to leave the team despite returning from injury with victory at Brands Hatch in the Supersport Championship at the end of the year.
He will be replaced by Perth rider Kev Coghlan, who has spent three seasons competing in the Spanish CEV Series and has also made appearances in a number of Moto2 and GP125 races as a support to the MotoGP series.
Coghlan will race alongside Brown in the Supersport Championship on one of the team’s new Yamaha R6 machines, which are currently being prepared at FW Race Developments by race technician Will Robinson.
GP125 rider Ryan Watson, from Brechin, will remain with the team for a second year after finishing seventh overall in 2011.
