STEVE Thomas dropped just one mark en route to victory at Red Rose Classic Motorcycle Club’s trial, held at the Roggerham Gate, Burnley.
Thomas tied with fellow Yamaha rider John Hird, but edged the win on the oldest rider first rule after 10 competitive sections.
Fantics claimed the next three places with Rob Poulton taking third followed by Carl Winstanley and G Fallows.
Class wins went to Owen Hardisty (Ariel), Ian Johnston (Triumph), Andrew Scott (Cub), John Brindle (BSA), Mick Dickinson (Bantam) and Phil Holey (Honda).
The club would like to thank the observers, clerks of the course, and the landowner for the event being suce a success.
