UPBEAT Blackburn Hawks boss Graham Lomax is hoping for a very happy 2012 after finishing 2011 with back-to-back big wins.
The Hawks hit 16 goals in a in their last two games as they crushed Trafford Metros 8-1 a week after thumping Telford Titans 8-0 and they now have a break until the Arena clash with Telford on January 7.
And Lomax says the wins mean his men can enjoy their break.
“The last two results have been a good pick-me-up. We will start afresh in the New Year, but looking at the fixtures, there is no reason why we can’t put a good run of results together,” he said.
“We’re up to third now and full of optimism.
“We’ve had some good crowds so far this season and everyone has bought in to what we’re trying to achieve here.”
