NISA Local were crowned champions of the Burnley Sports Alliance Cup Competition after they beat Solid Claims Legends' 6-5 in the final.
The Cup competition took place this week at Towneley Sports Centre as a break from the league competition which has been set up by the Burnley Sports Alliance to promote competitive five-a-side football for over 16-year-olds as well as bringing together people from different communities.
The league currently has representative teams from Padiham, Daneshouse, Stoneyholme, Lanehead, Lower Bank Hall and Queensgate.
Nisa Local manager, Ajmal Khan, said: "We entered the league as a bit of fun as mates and staff and were the underdogs and ended up winning.
"The league is a fantastic idea and we look forward to it all week as a way of team building".
If you would like to enter a team or to find out more contact Afrasiab Anwar participation & Volunteer Development Officer at the Sport & Play Development unit on 01282 664432 (ext 4432).
