BLACKBURN will be disappointed with this narrow defeat that deprives them of an unbeaten league record.
It was the visitors who were first out of the blocks and put together some early bright attacking play to dominate the opening 10 minutes.
And they scored after a midfield break under the posts, but the drop-kicked conversion was missed.
However, they couldn't add to this score and back came Burn who dominated the closing 15 minutes of the first-half, finally breaking through late on.
Bleasdale converted and the visitors led 7-5 at the break.
Sloppy tackling allowed Fleet to get their noses in front again.
The conversion was again missed, but a penalty soon afterwards wasn't, and the home side were six points to the good at 13-7.
The visitors were not playing badly but were again wasteful in attack.
Breaks by Millea, Pearson, Bleasdale and Elston were all repelled by some last ditch defence, whilst a try from a lineout was disallowed.
The try appeared to be fine and the visitors were particularly disappointed that the score was disallowed.
However, they were not to be denied and, following another sustained period of pressure, the visiting forwards were again driven over.
The conversion appeared to be over only to be blown off course at the end. This made the score 13-12 with around 10 minutes to play.
The visitors returned to the attack and had several thrusts for a winning score.
Fleet managed to break out of the stranglehold and sealed their win with a further penalty.
