WIND BLOWS Brett Windle, 13, has his arm raised after another impressive win
BRETT Windle added another impressive scalp to his collection after beating Merseyside and Cheshire champion Carl Brown.
The 13-year-old Sandygate ABC fighter dominated the opening two rounds and then weathered the storm in the third and final round before finishing strongly.
“Brett took another name and is improving every bout,” said coach Sam Tucker.
There was also an impressive debut for Colne’s Lloyd, the 21-year-old pitted his wits against Salford’s Jonny Green from St John’s ABC.
Lloyd showed few nerves; throwing countless punches, moving well while and getting the judges decision.
And Accrington’s Lee O’Hara made it three wins for the Burnley club in his return wearing the Claret and Blue of Sandygate.
Cameron Hird, Dyland Lord and Reagan Driver all starred in ABC skills bouts.
